I wasn’t planning on writing today but after yesterday’s news of Joe Biden’s mental health came out, I knew I had to jump on and give you my two cents.
It’s ableist and unfair to label someone as incompetent just because they have mental health issues like memory loss. Furthermore, is discriminatory to not allow folks with dementia to hold jobs. Are they not worthy of positions of ultimate authority? The question answers itself.
What folks don't understand is that his mental capabilities are beyond what any of us can imagine. He plays 4-D chess and is always at least ten steps ahead of everyone else. Dementia and memory problems, be damned.
Do you think he's feeble and mentally weak? Guess again! HA!
That's just an act to fool people into underestimating him. And then, like a stealthy predator in the jungle, he strikes with the venom of ten thousand snakes.
And if he was experiencing light symptoms of dementia, that’s a good thing! He’s showing everyone that one cannot be defined by a diagnosis.
Allow me to show you how incredible this man is.
He knows how to ride a bike.
He can get up from a sitting position.
He can give warm hugs.
He knows how to appreciate nature.
He can have a conversation.
He’s a runner, even wearing a suit and dress shoes. Not everyone can perform this feat.
Not only all of that, but he recently underwent a physical fitness test and is in better shape than most Navy Seals.
Take a look:
Swam 500 yards in 12 minutes
42 pushups in 2 minutes
6 pull-ups with no rest
1.5 mile run in just under 11 minutes
He also completed one week's worth of New York Times Wordles in under twenty minutes, proving his sharp cognitive abilities. He then located countries on a map, moving Mexico to its rightful place next to Israel and then he named all fifty-five states.
Though he walks with a 'stiff gait,' this means nothing other than tight hamstrings and a recommendation for orthotics.
His physician noted that Joe is, "fit to execute the duties of the presidency successfully."
Anyone with two eyes and a working brain can tell that Joe could easily serve two more terms. And why shouldn’t he?
